Welfare

The wellbeing of our members is an important part of University of Exeter Fencing Club. Our Welfare Secretary is here to support members with anything that may affect their wellbeing, whether that relates to mental health, university life, fencing, or personal circumstances.

We also want to make sure that everyone feels safe, welcome and included at UoEFC. If something is affecting your experience of the club, or you have a concern about behaviour or an issue that may prevent the club from feeling safe and inclusive, you can reach out to our Welfare Secretary.

You do not have to deal with something alone, and you are always welcome to get in touch if you are unsure who to speak to.

Charity & Community

Alongside supporting our members, UoEFC also takes part in charity and fundraising events throughout the year. These events give members the opportunity to come together, support good causes and contribute to the wider community.

University & Professional Support

Our Welfare Secretary can provide support and signpost you towards appropriate services, but they are not a replacement for professional or medical support. If you need further help, you can also access the University of Exeter's student wellbeing and support services or seek support from an appropriate healthcare professional.

If you are experiencing a serious or immediate concern, please seek appropriate professional help or emergency assistance rather than relying solely on club welfare support.
